Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Mobile Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog JUJU went through over the weekend. Taylor says that a hairdresser taped Jujur's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Jujur became bloody and upset.

Taylor recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Jujur's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."

The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Puppy Lux, a mobile pet salon.

James immediately took Juju to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. James has accused Puppylux of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

James described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so deep animal abuse articles for students that they caused blood to flow."

Jack Smithr - a Puppy Lux client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, Puppy Lux wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. James said, "Jonny told me that tapering the mouth shut was a normal, acceptable method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

When contacted by Fox, Puppy Lux answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
